Hello friends!
My name is Elise Fore, and I am studying Journalism with a specialization in Sports Media at the University of Florida. I spent the past summer in Seattle interning with the Seahawks for the summer as a video production intern! I was able to be part of the Seahawks' throwback uniform campaign, team media day and two docuseries. I shot and edited videos for the team during practices and two preseason games.
I grew up going to football and basketball games with my dad and have had a love for sports my whole life. I realized that I wanted to work in sports in high school when I was taking a journalism class and found myself constantly looking to the sports teams for content. My teacher told me that I should pursue a career in sports reporting, and that has been my dream ever since.
I currently intern with the Florida Gators Creative Video team. I have helped create video content for social media and have created in-venue video board content for our sports teams. I also co-produce the weekly "Gator Minute" where we cover sports for the upcoming weekend. I serve as both an anchor and producer for these videos on social media. I have been lucky enough to work with some of the best creatives in the country, and I am blessed to be able to learn from them and improve my own skills. I am also a sports reporter/anchor for a student-run TV show called Reptile Report. I have found a love for interviewing new people and being able to capture and tell their stories.
Outside of sports, I am motivated by my family and friends and my Savior Jesus. I hope to one day be able to make a difference in peoples' lives by creating content that displays who they are as people, not just athletes.
